Riverli Development

SIZE: 200 hectares 

SCOPE: Green belt and conservation area masterplanning, water retention, agroforestry system, animal systems.

Riverli is a mixed-use precinct comprising of residential, commercial, educational and retail uses. The precinct is divided in various developments interconnected by green belts and a natural conservation area. 

We were approached by the Developer to undertake the masterplan of the green areas, the green belts and the conservation area. 

The proposed concept plan is based on the silvo-pasture system. Fruit trees and indigenous trees are integrated together with grazing areas for cows and chickens. A micro-dairy enterprise will manage the animal systems and will provide fresh and local dairy products to the residents. The trees support the growth, health and recovery of the pastures while providing fruit to the residents as well as opportunities for leisure in the form of walkways, cycling paths and picnic areas.
